You Are Psychic!
(FAQ)
What is "psychic ability"?
Psychic ability has been variously referred to as the "sixth sense",
intuition, "gut instinct", an inner wisdom or "voice", ESP (extra-sensory
perception) and, to the scientific crowd, "anomalous cognition.".
Technically, these terms all refer to the ability to receive information
that does not come from induction (the five senses) or deduction
(reasoning or logic). You just suddenly know something, without any
explanation being possible through induction or deduction.
Intuition/psychic ability is a normal, natural human function. It is
not religion-based, and its use does not require any particular set of
religious or spirituality based beliefs. Whether you are Christian,
Buddhist, Muslim, Jewish, Hindu, Zoroastrian, atheist, or a follower of
the Flying Spaghetti Monster, intuition/psychic ability is one of your
normal and natural functions as a human being. Please note that our
classes do not recommend or disparage any particular religious or
spirituality based beliefs.
The word "psychic" derives from the Greek Ψ (psi), which refers to the
human mind or spirit. Scientists began using the term "psi" in the 1940's
to refer to the "supernatural" powers of the mind, including intuition,
psychic ability, or ESP.
The word 'intuition' originally derives from two Latin words: 'in',
meaning "in", and 'tueri', meaning "to look", and thus may be translated
as "to look in".
Webster's Dictionary defines 'intuition' as "the immediate knowing or
learning of something without the conscious use of reasoning;
instantaneous apprehension." We would go a step further and say that this
knowing is not limited by time or space: intuitive insights can come to
you regarding events from the future or the past, or from halfway around
the world. Some examples could include:
- The phone rings, and you know who is calling before you answer
- Without knowing why, you feel compelled to walk into a store you've
gone past many times before, and you discover they have an item you've
been seeking for weeks
- You decide to carry a little extra cash one day, and later an
emergency arises requiring just that amount of money
- You get a song playing in your head, and a few minutes later they
play that song on the radio
- You get an urge to call a friend, and it turns out that she had just
been thinking about you
- You decide to take a different route to work, and you later learn
there was an accident on your regular route
- And so on and so on
Have you ever wondered why some people are "luckier" than others -
always making just the right moves at the right times? Somehow knowing
just "when to hold 'em, and when to fold 'em"?
You too can learn to develop your psychic ability into a skill that
you can use on a daily basis and enhance your life in a thousand different
ways!
"The term intuition does not denote something contrary to
reason, but something outside of the province of reason." Dr. Carl
Gustav Jung
Can anyone develop their psychic ability?
Yes. Everyone - including you - has psychic ability. All
of us are receiving "psychic" information all of the time. Think of
psychic information like radio or TV waves. They surround us all of the
time. We just need to learn how to "tune in."
Developing your psychic ability can be compared to developing your
muscularity. We all have muscles. Some naturally have more muscularity
than others, but we all can choose whether or not to develop our own
muscles. Psychic ability is the same way. We all have it. Whether we
develop and use it or not is our choice.
Famous people who have benefited from psychic guidance include the
prolific inventor Thomas Edison, steel tycoon Andrew Carnegie, president
Abraham Lincoln, British prime minister Winston Churchill, astronaut Edgar
Mitchell, autombile pioneer Henry Ford, telephone creator Alexander Graham
Bell, and many, many more.
Over the last century tens of thousands of experiments involving
literally millions of individual trials have been conducted at a variety
of research facililties and laboratories throughout the world, including
universities and government agencies. The evidence overwhelmingly shows
that psychic ability is a natural, normal human function.
"Using the standards applied to any other area of science,
it is concluded that psychic functioning has been well established. The
statistical results of the studies examined are far beyond what is
expected by chance. Arguments that these results could be due to
methodological flaws in the experiments are soundly
refuted." Professor Jessica Utts, University of California
What are the benefits of developing one's psychic
abilities?
Benefits vary by the individual and their personal situation, but
enhanced psychic ability can have a profound positive effect on many areas
of life, including finances, love and health. Some ways it may improve
your own life might include:
- Increased business success (many top CEOs have tested with
above-normal psychic ability)
- Deeper and stronger personal relationships
- Early warnings of health issues, in yourself and others
- Heightened abilities of understanding and communication
- Awareness of hidden dangers when you're in unusual situations
- Improved abilities at test-taking
- Making decisions regarding career development
- Finding the perfect gifts for friends, family and loved ones
- Discovering your own life path
- Brainstorming and high-power creativity
- Overall greater "luckiness" and "guessing" ability
- And much more!
Rob once worked in the offices of a
Hilton-owned hotel. A famous intuition story is told about Hilton Hotels
founder Conrad Hilton when he was just entering the hotel industry. He was
involved in a sealed-bid offer for the assets of a corporation. He
initially submitted a bid of $165,000, but later retracted it and
submitted a bid of $180,000 because the first bid didn't "feel right", and
the $180,000 amount kept "coming" to him. When the bids were unsealed, he
had won the corporate assets (an investment which eventually earned him $2
million) by a mere $200.
"Intuition is the supra-logic that cuts out all the routine
processes of thought and leaps straight from the problem to the
answer." Robert Graves
